I realised I blogged to entertain myself.
Surprising is I never like reading what I have posted.
That is why I never click on those old posting myself either.
Because I felt so embarassed sometimes on what I have written.
I feel like laughing at myself.
Those past stupidity.
Those emotional feeling. Hmm, I do not think I can be so emotional these days. There is a moment when I find it difficult to post something, because I have nothing emotional to share anymore.
Some have claimed my blog to be entertaining in the past. Thank you. Yes, I need those funny stuff to keep me from feeling emotional. That is why I blogged about it.
When you have no place to rant, you can spill it all on your blog. I used to feel relieved after blogging all my unsatisfaction.
However, it do not work these days. That is because I no longer have to rely on blogging. I have people who I can turned to already. I feel so grateful. And they do not mind listening to my theories and crazy thoughts. I can be so philosphical sometimes. ><
The blog turned into your alter ego, it reminded me of Dorian Gray.
I blogged to improve my writing skills. I blogged to instill the reading habit in me. If I do not read, I will have nothing to share.
I blogged to have a portfolio on my artwork. I blogged to keep track on the interesting material I read from the internet. In another word, those material I stealed from the internet. OH NO! I AM GUILTY! LOL
I blogged so that I know at the end of the year, what have I done through out the year.
Through blogging, I made my first rainbow friend who is also my brother figure today. I do not have many rainbow friends, I think it does not even surpass five. Oh NO! I need more exposure to the rainbow world....
Rainbow or not rainbow, it is the friendship that matters. I never tried separating my rainbow and non rainbow friend. I see them as who they are, my friend.
I used to think rainbow people are the nicest and most sophisticated people and it has proven me wrong. I seriously have a culture shock when I met those guy from social website.
My brother figure once told me, if you want to meet genuine and honest rainbow folks, you can only find it in the rainbow bloggers. So far from observation, he has proved himself right. =)
Rainbow blogs are the only blog I read these days. I find them entertaining. Thanks to the growing number of rainbow blogs, I can have something to read each day. From the rant of their daily life, emotional thoughts, "naughty adventure", foods, movie review, songs, jokes, hunk review, toys review, love advice, wisdom thought and etc...it is definitely more than enough to keep me updated on many different things. =D

Random
I woke up today feeling like usual. However, I knew I have not really been happy these days. My mind has been thinking a lot. A recent event that happened further depressed me. However, I am not feeling emo. I am just worried. That's all.
As the afternoon is approaching, I just feel quite depress and today I have to eat lunch alone although the food is nice. I do not mind being alone, but as I mentioned, I am just thinking a lot. There are certain things I tried to ignore the thoughts, but I knew it will still come back until it is solved.
However, I managed to see this in one of the pet shop I entered. I was laughing when I first saw it. The puppy certainly knew how to enjoy himself. I knocked the glass hoping to wake him up and irritate him but he just continued sleeping and ignoring everybody passing by. He opened his leg wide apart and let the cool wind from the air conditioner blowing his private part. He slept with four legs up.
Wake up la...lazy puppy! Let me have a look at you. I want to see you make all the pity face hoping that someone will be interested in you. HAHAHAHA
However, your way of sleeping already enough to make me laugh. I was looking at you all the time and you still continued sleeping. *SWEAT*

Later, I saw something that made me laugh. I laughed because he look so funny. The poodle has got such funny hairsytle! I wonder why his owner want him to have such hairstyle. PITY HIM LAh!
I was feeling ok again, until I got home. My phone went crazy again. I have a hard time figuring out what to do with it. This leave me feeling so frustruated. However, shortly after that, I realised someone sent me something he promised. I actually forgotten about it already and I never thought that he will send it to me.
Before opening the file, I was laughing. However, I did not laughed at all when I am hearing it. That is because I find it quite unique. It sounded so rock and roll to me. I finally realised which song it was and I laughed. LOL...I laughed because it don't sound like him at all! I continued to let it play on my earphone. Is really not bad, or else I would have switched it off. HAHAHA
At least, I don't feel emo anymore. Can go to sleep already!

Is the school haunted?
If you have read today newspaper, you would have read that a Form 3, malay girl tried to jump off the building at SMK Abu Bakar, Temerloh, Pahang.
The girl was reported to start screaming at 8.30am for no apparent reason and dashed out the corridor to the edge of the two-story building and pulled out several window panes and hurling them to the ground. She even took off her 'tudung' and threw it to the ground. What is even scarier was she cut herself and licked the oozing blood from her fingers while laughing hysterically.
The point of this post is to share what I have heard from my friend before. I remembered my friend told me about this school many years ago but I do not know if it is SMK Abu Bakar. It was also early in the morning and a malay girl started screaming hysterically. I do not remember what happened after that, but I remembered my friend told me the school was closed for many days after that. I suspected it was SMK Abu Bakar also because the newspaper has reported that there are several hysterical incident happened at the school before.
I read from a blog that the haunted incident at the school was due to dirtiness. You can refer "unclean" as in being occupied by poltergeist and demon, but the blog mentioned that the uncleaniness was due to the sanitary pad being flushed down the toilet and the school compound has got poor hygiene. The unhygienic environment attracted demon and poltergeist because those "thing" feed on bone, food waste and dirty things.
I never encounter any haunted experience in my school before.*thanks God*
However, I have heard an encounter during my camp at a university. I was sleeping soundly alone after the night activity because I was too tired. My roommate went out and saw the incident. He told me about it when I woke up. A malay girl was possessed. Her roommate ran out when they saw her facial expression changed and her skin and eye color changed. She had the demonic look and it was frightening. Luckily there was a religious teacher at the university and after some prayer and ritual, the girl recovered.
My question is, why it always happen in malay school and why it always happen to malay girl? Why is the demon so racist?
We are 1 Malaysia u know, cannot be so racist! ><

I feel confused
I realised the song keep playing in my head but I am unable to understand what the song is actually singing.
Is this because I never put in effort to find out the actual meaning of the song?
What if I found out the meaning, but realised that the song was not meant for me?
Will I be able to forget the song so easily?
I experienced rejection before, but it does not mean I have given up. My heart is still open to opportunites around me. However, I am just feeling cautious. I need guidance.
Thinking too much will not help, I will just do what I can and leave the rest to destiny.
Love can never be forced, it has to come naturally.
I am not in love. I am just thinking about you. I must be having a crush. =(

Memories Hold Better During Sleep
This post was inspired by an article taken from Star newspaper.
I do not know about how others remember what they have learned during the day but I certainly have my own way.
A findings reported that if you want to remember a newly learned theory or mathematics equation, taking a short nap after learning is a solution.
I found this to be quite true.
If I learned something during the day and I read it before going to sleep, I will recall those thing in my mind or even the words spoken by my lecturer echoing in my mind till I fell asleep. In addition to that, I will recall those event that has happened during the day.
When I wake up from sleep, I am able to recall those facts I have memorised or learned. If I do not remember them, I will refer to it again and after a few quick glance at the notes, I will be able remember them.
I tend to do this if I am studying last minute for an exam. However, it only works better if you have revised or at least glance through those facts before. This is because the nervous feeling during last minute will block your mind from thinking and recalling the facts.
Research has shown that fresh memories are stored temporarily in a region of the brain call the hippocampus.
Reactivation of those memories soon after learning plays a crucial role in their transfer to more permanent storage in the brain's "hard drive", the neocortex.
When you sleep, your mind is actually processing a lot information. This includes sending out signal to the cells for rejunevating and recovering any wounds or injuries.
Furthermore, if you have problems that you are unable to figure out during the day or you have difficulties recalling something, going to sleep will help you figure out the problems. I am speaking this from my personal experience.
Certain people claim to be more active during the night, but in actual fact, sleeping early is vital for one's health. Although you may feel active during the night but your body is not recovering process as it should and is damaging to your health. Your skin will feel dry and you will feel lethargic. Although you will have enough of sleep after you sleep late, for example you sleep at 5 am and you wake up at 4 pm, you will feel not active and dizzy when you wake up. Furthermore, some people will experience headache and loss of mood.
Conclusion, sleep early and wake up early. The early bird catches the worm. If you wake up early, you can do many things. You claim that you feel blurr in the morning? This is because you did not sleep early the night before. If you sleep early, your mind will be most active during the morning.
So learn to sleep early if possible. =)

A funny day
Today was a funny day.
Why?
I do not know. Maybe because it doesn't take much to make me laugh :P
I was suppose to meet AL for the first time. I never thought of meeting him this fast, but I did not realised it myself when I popped the question, "So, when we will meet up?"
I thought of during CNY as I was quite busy with my college now, but he suggested tomorrow instead.
I agreed.
I was anxious because I did not meet any new people for quite some time. However, I just try to brush it off and remain calm.
But who knows, later in the evening I am not feeling well, I feel nausea and headache. I feel like vomitting.
Hence, I tried to sleep early. When I woke up, Im feeling fine. However, after having my breakfast, I feel nausea again. I told myself, "sei lor(this is not good)...How am I going to meet him in this state?"
When I am not feeling well, I tend to keep quiet. It worried me because I do not want to appear as someone boring and does not talk much. It was the first meet up after all. Leaving a bad impression was certainly the last thing I want to do.
I read the horoscope in Star newspaper(ok, I do not believe it in all the time, but sometimes is quite accurate, especially the one on Yahoo), it says for my reading:
"A day when you are restless and ill at ease. You probably won't know why but you will know you can't concentrate. The pressure will be on this afternoon."
OMG!~
It is so true. I really cannot concentrate and not feeling well. If that is the case, what am I going to do? FFK(canceling appointment) was certainly not the thing I would want to do.
I prayed to God to just guide me and let me have a good afternoon with my new friend. I do not want to make him feel bored or uncomfortable.
Who knows, I got a phone call from Cal. I told him I am going to meet AL and it turns out that he is going to meet his 'brother' too in the same place. I was surprised and glad. I want to meet up with Cal too but always do not have the chance! *frustrated*
When I was on my way, I still did not expect anything. I was less anxious now because I knew Cal is around :P
We have lunch together. Dine in a japanese restaurant. I do not have the appetite! ><
When I was on the way home, the nausea, headache and vomitting feeling came back. I knew I am really not feeling well. =(
So, that is my day. It turned out to be a nice day. =D
However, I did not spoke much to AL. Sorry...I really wish to know you better >< Hopefully, next time when I meet you I am able to talk to you more, and hopefully I don't bore u. *finger-cross*

We have casual chat and the conversation just get more interesting.
It turned out that L was a funny guy. I was laughing through out the conversation(yes...I am still laughing as I typed this). However, the most interesting and shocking fact come into the picture when I realised who L actually was. I turned out that he is someone I knew but I did not know was him!! I went...OMG!! =="
What is even more interesting is when I found out we have a quite a number of friends in common and he actually saw me before. OMG...the world is getting smaller!
The afternoon were spent chatting with Cal, L and AL. Time seems to pass so fast.
We had dessert at another cafe after that. The dessert wasn't that great and my appetite was not good either. However, it was great spending time with my two new friends and Cal. It was hilarious listening to L's "adventure". What was even more shocking is when another fact came into the picture...I went OMG!! again. (yeah...I know I am dai geng siu gwai( never see big deal b4). But it is just interesting to discover some facts. :P However, I am going to leave that a secret within us :P
I thought I can stay late. However, I forgot that I promised my mom that I need fetch her later in the evening.
Feeling disappointed that I need leave. What to do, mom is important rite?
On the way back, I saw this cute and good looking gay couple. How I knew they are gay? I think even a retarded will know...two good looking guy standing so close and sat together. One of them even rested his head on the other guy's shoulder through out the journey home.

Rayman Raving Rabbid
I came across this weird looking rabbit one day and I found it interesting. It turned out that Rayman Raving Rabbit is a Wii game. I never play the game before but I am interested in the rabbit :P

Rayman Raving Rabbids, known in French as Rayman contre les Lapins Crétins (literally "Rayman against the Moronic Rabbits"), is a spinoff in the Rayman series released by the French company Ubisoft as a Wii launch title. The game consists of over 70 minigames. The game is primarily designed with the Wii Remote in mind, but is also available on PC, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360. Ubisoft released a sequel to the game, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, in November 2007, and released the third game in the series, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party in November 2008. The fourth game in the series, Rabbids Go Home was released in 2009, though only on the Wii and DS systems, and a the fifth game Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time was released in 2010.
Story:
The game begins with a cut-scene showing Rayman having a picnic with the local Globox kids. Their commander Sergueï kidnaps Rayman and throws him in an arena with angry Rabbids, several armed with weapons. Initially they jeer him, but as Rayman completes more trials, they grow bored, and eventually he even becomes popular among the Rabbids and they cheer him on, in addition to making his jail cell more hospitable. Eventually, Rayman amasses a collection of plungers as rewards for completing the trials. By building a ladder out of all his plungers to reach the window, Rayman manages to escape and free himself. Once liberated, he remembers the Globox kids and attempts to return through one of the Rabbid holes to rescue them, but winds up getting stuck in the hole.
When the player completes all four games on the last day, they receive a golden cow trophy that will be placed on top of the wardrobe in Rayman's cell.

The game consists of over 70 minigames. The game is primarily designed with the Wii Remote in mind, but is also available on PC, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360. Ubisoft released a sequel to the game, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, in November 2007, and released the third game in the series, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party in November 2008. The fourth game in the series, Rabbids Go Home was released in 2009, though only on the Wii and DS systems, and a the fifth game Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time was released in 2010.
Story:
The game begins with a cut-scene showing Rayman having a picnic with the local Globox kids. Their picnic is interrupted when an earthquake erupts and the Globox kids sink into the ground while 3 Rabbids appear in their place. Their commander Sergueï kidnaps Rayman and throws him in an arena with angry Rabbids, several armed with weapons. Rayman must complete his first trials now, and afterwards Sergueï takes him to his cell and gives him a plunger. Initially they jeer him, but as Rayman completes more trials, they grow bored, and eventually he even becomes popular among the Rabbids and they cheer him on, in addition to making his jail cell more hospitable. Eventually, Rayman amasses a collection of plungers as rewards for completing the trials. By building a ladder out of all his plungers to reach the window, Rayman manages to escape and free himself. Once liberated, he remembers the Globox kids and attempts to return through one of the Rabbid holes to rescue them, but winds up getting stuck in the hole.
When the player completes all four games on the last day, they receive a golden cow trophy that will be placed on top of the wardrobe in Rayman's cell.

Answering Phone Calls
If I can find one thing that I never enjoy doing besides clerical and administrative job, that will be answering phone calls.
I just never like to answer phone calls since young. Especially if I have to call a stranger or answer phone call from a stranger.
Maybe is because I sound dead on the phone. I knew some people sound really sexy over the phone. If you are a girl, you have this seducing sweet voice. If you are a guy, the deep ,sexy and low-pitched voice. Or maybe like water running over rocks. Some people voice sound melodic.
I knew I never sound interesting over the phone =(
I tried working as a tele-marketer once and I quitted after 2 weeks. I just cannot stand it.
Despite that, I still wish I can own an Iphone one day. I do not like answering or making calls but I like playing with the phone. :P

Think Out Of The Box
It was Friday morning, and that meant it was time for an activity that the teacher called "add to the picture". The teacher would call students to the chalkboard one at a time. The first student would draw an object on the chalkboard, and each following student would add something to the picture to make it a new picture. The teacher called on James to start things off.
James returned to his seat.
The teacher called on Ernie next.
Ernie returned to his seat.
Now it was Suzy's turn.
Suzy returned to her seat.
Next, the teacher called Jerry to the board.

Impatience
If there are one thing I would really like to change is to become patient again.

I remembered I used to be a patient guy. Since when I start to become so impatient whent things go wrong or sometimes certain things is just slow. Example: the internet connection.
Impatience leads to anger. Anger leads to frustration. Actually most of the time I am not angry at others, but I am angry at myself. I feel I could have avoid certain event from happening.
Most importantly, I find it difficult to wait for someone or something.

Gambling Mathematic
Something that I learned recently and thought of sharing.
Have you ever watch a horse racing in turf club? Do you notice those number 7/3, 5/1, 6/1 appearing on the toteboard?
Do you know what it means and how you calculate your payoff?
It is actually very simple.
The number you saw are the win odds quoted on each horse. They will tell the profit you will get from each horse and the amount you have to bet to get it.
For example 5/1 simply means you will get a profit of $5 for every $1 you bet. Let's say you place a bet of $1000 on a horse with a win odd of 5/1, in order to calculate your profit, you can do a simultaneous equation if you understand basic mathematics.
5/1=?/1000
From the equation, you will get your profit of $5000 for the $1000 bet you placed.
The total cash you will receive is $6000( $5000(profit)+$1000( $ you wagered)).
The more interesting fact is how do they derive on the win odd 5/1, 6/2 and etc?
First you need to knw the total win pool and amount bet on that horse. The total pool is all the money bet on all the horses to win, but it is NOT the amount that will actually be paid out to the holders of winning tickets.
Secondly, you need to know the percentage for the track take.
Before the track pays off the winners they deduct the "take" which is generally between 14%-20% and is different for every state. This money goes to pay state and local taxes, purse money for the horsemen, expenses at the track, and the track's profit.
For example , the total win pool is $1100.
The track take is 15%, so we will deduct 15% from $1100, leaving us with only $935.
Thirdly, we need to deduct $935 with the amount bet on the horse.
Let's say the bet amount is $375, so the payoff will be $560 ($935-$375), so your win odd will be 560/375, simplified as 112/75.
If your saw your toteboard has the win odd of 5/1, if you reverse it it will give you 1/5.
1/5 means 1 is favourable event that you will win and 5 is the unfavourable event, means you will lose. It means we have a total chance of 6(1+5), in which only 1 out of 6 that the event will be favourable.
Using the formula p/1-p , 'p' is the probability in favor of the event. For example, an event with 1 in 5 of probability occuring, will give you 1/5=0.2(in favor of event, your 'p') so we have 0.2/1-0.2= 0.2/0.8= 1/4.
1 is the event will be favourable,4 is the event will be unfavourable. With a total chance of 5(1+4), there is 1 in 5 of probability that the event will turn out to be favourable.

House Creaking? Is it because is haunted?
I am sure sometimes you sit alone in the house at night and suddenly you hear creaking or "settling" sound. Your heart jump a little and you start to have goosebump. Worse if you just watched a horror movie and trying to sleep at night. I'm sure you will be covering your head with blanket when you heard those sound.
Don't worry, is absolutely normal to hear creaking sound inside your house and your house is not haunted, unless you hear someone talking to you when no one is at home, then I think you really should be scared.
The infrastructures of house consists of elements like pillars, beams, and foundation, words that connote steadiness, permanence and immutability.
You would not have believed it, but your building is moving sometimes. There are many ways in which a building move.
A building, even a seemingly solid and massive one is never at rest. Its motions are usually very small and undetected by the unaided eyes. However, most of them are of virtually irresistable force and would tear the building to pieces if not provided for in some way.
In an average house, the following components can move:
1) The soil underneath the foundation buckles under the weight of a new foundation.
2) Materials that are put in place while wet, such as mortar, concrete, and lime plaster, shrink as they harden.
3) Some dry materials such as gypsum plaster, tend to expand and push against adjoining elements.
4) Most lumbers used in house is not completely dry when put in place. Wet lumber shrinks.
5) Structural elements that carry weight loads, such as beams, pillars, and columns, deflect under the weight.
6) Wind and earthquake cause more natural deflection.
7) Wood and concrete sag.
8) Wood in particular tend to expand when exposed to high humidity and contract in dry conditions. When humidity decreases noticeably, such as when heat is put on to warm a room in winter, the wood creaks noticeably.
9) Any material adjoining another material with different movement characteristic is in danger of scrapping against another or moving away from the other, which can cause movement and noise.
10) All of the above may cause noises, but the most common noise associated with settling is the actual expansion and contraction of the building.
Back-and-forth movement caused by thermal and moisture effect occur consistently. A building grows measurably larger in warm weather and smaller in cold weather.
A roof, heated by the sun, grows larger in the middle of the day, while the cooler walls below stay the same size. At night the roof cool and shrinks.
There are architects planning to compensate for the inevitable movement in materials, otherwise the creaking noises might lead you to the same fate as Janet Leigh's in Psycho.

Happy New Year 2010
It is a new year once again, time for a new start and a new beginning. Cherish the past, remember the lesson learned, forget the unhappiness in the past. We cannot change what has happened but we are still able to made changes to the future.
Since this is the last year I am going be experiencing life as a student(hopefully!), therefore I really wish I can do for myself the following before 2011 end. My resolutions(finger cross :-X) for 2011:
1) Live a healthy lifestyle( eat on time, eat proper diet, follow the food pyramid, eat 5 times a day at least, sleep on time, get enough sleep( at least 6 hours a day) and do not burn any midnite oil!)- Good health is so important...
2) Study consistently, no last minute study!
3) Pass all my progress test, mock exam.( if no. 2 is achieved, should not be a problem)
4) Sign up for swimming lesson.
5) Fix my teeth and take good care of my teeth.
6) Resume my gym routine, work out consistently and achieve my target body weight of 75kg.
7) Clean the house on a consistent basis.
8) Finish my theses and submit by April!
9) Learn to be patient, especially during driving >.<
10) Make more new friends, be more socialble and open.
11) Closer bonding with my current friends.
12)Never late for class and appointment.
13) Read newspaper everday, magazines( Times, Reader Digest, etc), books.
14) Take good care and improve my appearance.
15) Continue improve my Chinese, one word a day at least.
16) Stop spending money unnecessarily, save enough money.
17) Spend some time improve my creative skill, art, craft, modeling, electronic, cooking.
18) Experience as many first time experience as possible, play till the max!
19) Stop wasting time(online doing nothing!) and spend each minute productively.
20) Pick up a new language.
21) Pray everyday.
22) Blog consistently.
So that is my 22 resolutions for 2011. Why 22? Of course there is a reason. My ultimate wish isget a BF, Haihz... I realised this can never be force, but I really wish Aphrodite can give me some blessing at least :P
